Silverstone Raven 02 or 03?

Hi, I'm thinking of picking up a raven case and stuck on the Raven 02 or 03.

Been looking around and kinda stuck on which to get. I've read around and it seems the 02 has a sturdier build but bigger and cooler than the 03. While the 03 has air leak problems and cheaper looking materials but has better cable management, not to mention a lot cheaper than the 02 and has an easier accessible fan controller unlike the 02.

Yet the 02 seems to be a more popular choice from what I have seen.
What are your suggestions?

Is the higher HDD temps on the 03 anything to be concerned about?

Thanks!

I personally chose the RV02 over the RV03 because of the better temps the RV02/FT02 has compared to the RV03. If you live in a tropical country like I do, the RV02 is the way to go unless you plan to go under water, so any case with decent airflow should suffice specially the RV03.

As far as cable management is concerned, if you get extensions for your PSU and you have a fully modular PSU you can manage to have the RV02 and FT02 look incredible back there. By the way, you do have enough space to run cables back there, maybe not as wide as the RV03 but enough to even run a 3/8 to 5/8 tubing back there.

I do live in a tropical country too. What kinda temps would I be expecting to be better over the 03?

The PSU I'm planning to get is the Seasonic G550. Its semi modular, would it be a lot more wiser to spend more to get a fully modular PSU?

Edit:

Also recently read that the bottom magnets on the air filters are weak on the 03. But the author stated that silverstone has since fixed it from his review model. Any light on this?

Yes, I would suggest you get a fully modular PSU since it 's just always easier to deal with wires and use sleeved extensions when you have one.

As for the temps, the RV03 performed about (if you read various reviews) 3-5*C worse than the FT02 / RV02 and definitely had worse temps in the HDD section of it (I think more than 5*C based on the reviews). Since you live in a tropical country it does make sense to have a very good air cooling case, unless you decide to go water cooling.

You can water cool an FT02/RV02 but it's not as easy to do compared to other cases, but it can be done, I think, easily as well. You just need to plan out your build a bit better.
