Another BSOD help =(

Hey guys, here's my story.

Was on my computer last night, working fine. Shut off the monitor went to bed. Woke up to the attached picture. Tried powering down and back up to get the same screen. Tried safe mode with same result. I have not installed any new drivers or software in the past few months. I installed Star Wars the Old Republic 2 days prior and that was my last real change. Everything else has been internet browsing. When I try rebooting it says "Configuring Windows" on the boot screen then goes into the attached BSOD. Let me know if there is anyway to fix it or if I have to reformat.

Also what is the easiest way about saving file from that computer (pictures mainly)

Thanks,

Nick

Something happenned to your Windows Installation, maybe updates? Have you notice any Windows Updates recently? Have you tried uninstalling Start Wars?

0x7E = Corrupted OS file, possibly from overclocking. Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r

I haven't noticed any windows updates that happened recently. I am unable to get into the computer to remove starwars or anything else. I get blue screened even going into safe mode. Is there anyway to run chkdsk without being able to get into the computer?

Do you have a Windows repair disk?

I also recommend to reset your overclock.

I actually reset my overclock a month ago and it has been at stock since. I do not have an actual "repair disc" just the Windows 7 Upgrade Disc or my Vista OS Disc.
