Hello OCN,

I am a full time student majoring in Information Assurance (IT Security) Im working on a group project on how to secure wifi. My goal is to crack my home wifi through my smartphone (galaxy S3) although through some research, the wireless card will not go into monitor mode.

So Im looking to buy an ALFA wireless adapter

which one would work best for my needs?

I would like as b/g/n and for it to work well with backtrack and my phone.

Thanks,

The AWUS036H is the one I currently have and it works great. Under Mac OS or Linux. I have managed to crack multiple with it (My own passwords). The long range is "ehh" I got it with both upgrades and I didn't see much difference.
I vouch for the AWUS036H, it's just amazing. It's not against TOS unless you do it to anyone's else Connection other then your own, or with there permission.
