I think I got a really nice gtx 670

I've been testing 670's and 680's from amazon to see what is the best fit for me. Right now I'm using a EVGA gtx 670 ftw signature 2 and this thing has a boost clock like I've never seen.

At default clocks, the core is 1006, and boosts up to 1085. But in games without any offset, it goes to 1215! I was like wat? The classified 680 default boost is that high.

So I upped the core 85mhz and I've got this thing running 99% gpu usage for hours now no crash yet. It tops out at 1293 with power target at 145%, stock voltage. Mem tops out at 7.2ghz or maybe a little above which I've heard is the upper limit for 670 mem

Anyways I'm glad I got this card. Difference between this card and the 680 classified its 40% less but only performs 4-5% under the classified both OCd to their limits.

The dual fans are quiet, but they do heat my case up...

Nice, I got a 670 FTW that oc's to 1320, think I might do the bios mod to see if it'll go higher. Out of the box it'll hit 1240 before any oc

That's awesome. So do all cards in the same model have different stock boost clocks? I really thought most were just 50 MHz over what the normal boost clock said in gpuz

Basically, yes.

Mine can do 1285 stable. Out of the box it does 1175.
