7850 or 650 Ti Boost - Page 5

So I ended up getting 650Ti Boost. Now when I'm playing BF3 in 64 player sever then I don't even notice any improvement over 8800GTX, in 32/48 slot servers I'm able to play on Ultra w/o MSAA but the GPU is still at ~50-60% used and CPU ~90% and it still drops to 30 fps.

Zzzz....

Should have waited. I just posted a newegg deal that has the boost for 146 after rebate thumb.gif and that Q is severely bottenecking that card which would explain the low cpu usage

Not from America, but yes that Q is severely bottlenecking. I'll try clocking it to 3.6 but I'll doubt it will change anything.

then, maybe your are asking much from your cpu. adjust the settings a bit till you can upgrade the rest of your components.

The problem is that no matter what settings I use in 64 slot server I'm not able to run the game stable 60fps. It drops to 30 on low, med, ultra. No difference.

Hi again smile.gif

So I've decied to upgrade my cpu now because with q6600 i'm not even able to utilize 50% of 650ti's power.
I was looking at AMD FX-6300, is it good enough to play Battlefield 3 on 64 player servers without bottlenecking?
