Starting to work

↓ A friend let me his rotatory tool to work... IT'S DREMEL TIME

↓ My firsts cuts with a dremel, i think they're pretty acceptable for a noob rolleyes.gif

↓ Sanded

↓ I made a board template with a piece of lego to place the 24pins and the sata/usb3 ports

↓ Almost the end of the day, broken the only disc i had

The Prodigy is Finally at home

↓It comes with a hard to carry case

↓ Front and perspective of the case, I think is beauty

↓ Without the front mesh panel

↓ Empty except for the motherboard tray

↓Removing the tray poprivets

↓One pop rivet decided to marry the bit mad.gif

↓ Another broken accessory, RIP old friend

↓ But the tray came out

↓ A fully-empty prodigy, there's a lot of space to work with

Looks really promising; similar to Project Prodigious, which crammed a MVG in a Prodigy, albeit the Prodigy had practically none of the original parts. Definitely looking forward to how this turns out; I really want someone to shove a RIVG in a Prodigy.

↓Marking to make a fake PSU

↓ I love this tool, it makes me feel powerful

↓ The PSU model, the measurements, the atx standard 160*150*86mm

↓ Some fitting attempts with the old motherboard, i wish i have a Maximus V Gene to complete this build rolleyes.gif

↓ There are a piece of yellow foamed pvc in the workroom, somebody knows why?

↓ Printed the parts of the front layout, can someone tell me which logo are viewing??? biggrin.gif

↓ Indeed it is the steelseries logo, i love this brand and, his products and also his logo, plus I can make room for ventilation. Yellow and black/grey are going to be my color schemes

this kinda proves how pointlessly large the prodigy is when you can fit a full atx board in there, nice to see another prodigy matx conversion build

↓ Placed to find the centers

↓ Ready to cut with the jigsaw because a Dremel disc broke when I was cutting PVC, plus the jig cuts better, straighter and cleaner

↓ Foamed PVC is easy to cut (with the jigsaw) and sand with the dremel accessory
