I dont think you can overclock dell's. If you want press delete to enter the bios when the PC boots up. Then look for controls for the cpu, fsb, etc. If its there then you can research how to overclock, but you really need to get upgraded cooling to if you want to overclock it a decent amount.

The nvidia card can be overclocked regardless. Need to download coolbits, at least thats what I use. copy the file in and open up the nvidia control panel, you'll see the settings there. I would research here first though... by research I mean searching the forums for anything you can find about your card, find out what its limits are and take baby steps. Only way you will learn is to play.

Most Dell's you can't overclock sorry - at least the CPU

However, try downloading nTune, which may be able to overclock your CPU and will be able to overclock your card

I had a Dell XPS 700 for about 2 weeks, you can overclock the CPU/GPU - Sort of.. You have very little access in the actual BIOS, and most settings are set as unchangeable. You can run NTune and see what it does for you, but thats about it.

I only had mine for 2 weeks as I sent it back and built my current rig with the money.

PS - If you do want to return it - Do what I did, they said "Sorry, over 7 days old, no refund" I said, "You advertise this as having a 590i chipset, but lie, it is a 570i and I will take you to court" then they should give you a full refund!
