M3x30 or M3x35 question

As title says I have two Alphacool UT60 they come with M3x30 which works great for putting fans on and then they come with M3x35 which is to long for fans. I bought a Case Labs SM8-X and I was wondering if I would use the 35 to mount the radiator to the case. Both rads will be in Push Pull config.

M3 x 30 is to mount bottom fans to rad. M3 x 35 is to mount top fans, rad, case, and probably a filter.

I used the M3x35mm to mount the push fans and the rad to the chassis, but even then they were a bit too long. I just used some rubber washers and bolts between the screw heads and the chassis and it worked great.
Another option is to use the Phobya 7mm thick shrouds/decouplers between the fans and rad, which should be a perfect fit with the longer screws.
