new samll form factor vid card

Thread Starter
I cant decide what card i should go with? i plan on putting it under water in a few months, so reference is idea. But i dont know how amd compares to nvidea and vice versa right now.

I plan on going with the sg05 case, 16 gb of ram, asus p8z77-i deluxe/wd, 2600k to start then moving to the new i7 k chip.

price isnt too much of an issue, would like to gett somethign that can oc well to make it last longer before having to upgrade, should i wait on the new lineups to come out? havenmt had time to do much research at all.

i run dual monitors, i game on a dell ultrasharp 24, i have a dell ultrasharp 22 i browse on turned verical next to it.

A 7970 or a GTX Titan will suit you just fine. thumb.gif

I see small form factor in the title...

Would this interest you perhaps?

An ASUS GTX670 Mini with DirectCU cooling.

Don't know about waterblocks for it but since it hasn't been released yet I am sure there is a good chance that WB's will be made for it. You might need to of them for dual monitors.

Otherwise I would go for a AMD HD7970 or a titan but IMO titans are overpriced

Negative. Two monitors have been supported off of pretty much any video card for AGES. It's 3+ that is more recent. All Kepler cards support at least 3 monitors, and some 4, depending on their video outputs. The card pictured should support 4.

It can probably support 3+ monitors but with more cards you'll obviously get more fps if you can afford it, If I was ever going to get a GTX670 I would get these for the cuteness factor

Skip the Titan, not worth it.

But any of the top cards are good at the moment, pick a color.
AMD hasn't been able to keep up with Nvidia for low power usage, so they've embraced it and push their cards hard.
Nvidia continues to make a super solid and reliable card.

If you need small stuff pick up a couple of those mini 670s tho!
