A couple questions....
1) could de-lidding it help in anyway other than lowering heat????
2) to get to 4.5-4.6ghz not much setting needed to be adjusted, can anyone point me in the right path towards bios settings?
3) i read that voltage is more important than heat for these chips for lifespan....true....?
4) any other info would be helpful
5) THANK YOU!!!
depends on your temps... my old 3570K is worse than yours and I stayed on air.
3570K @ 4.4GHz on 1.368V...! on air max @ 82C..
it's a lottery when getting a chip, I said that on another thread today already.
waiting on my replacement now, I want a lower voltage chip to delid, not some high voltage monster that's worse than both my 2500K's..
