I need advice. I plan to build an amd a10 5800k rig. it's my first time and I really hope that I will not be sad in the future because I picked the wrong parts.

CPU: AMD A10 5800k http://dynaquestpc.com/index.php/components-2/processor/amd/amd-trinity-a10-5800k-3-80ghz-4-20ghz-turbo-hd7660d-processor.html

MOBO: Asrock FM2A55M DGS http://dynaquestpc.com/index.php/components-2/motherboard-1/fm2-motherboard-asrock-gigabyte-msi-asus-biostar-ecs/asrock-ar-fm2a55m-dgs-motherboard-fm2.html

RAM: GSKILL 8gb 1866mhz http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=22329690

PSU: Corsair VS450 http://dynaquestpc.com/index.php/components-2/power-supplies/350-460-watts/corsair-vs450-cp-9020009-450-watt-power-supply.html

Case: Antec 100 lite casing

is this build good? is it easy to OC 3.8ghz to 4.2ghz? please I really need advice, Thanks ^^

I'd choose a higher Wattage PSU and what are you choosing for a video card?

@K62-RIG Well, do I really need a video card? It says that the a10 is CPU + GPU? I only want to play NBA 2k13 and FIFA. maybe skyrim also, can't the a10 carry that load?

Moved.

If you do not have any plan to add a good discrete graphics card in your system, then only the selected PSU is good. Otherwise, think about changing it.
Anyway, 'VS' series is only available in Asia-Pacific region.

If I add Sapphire Radeon HD6670 GDDR5 1gb in the rig, the VS 450 won't be enough?

the psu in your OP would be fine for that. if you intended to go with a m ore high end gpu then you should look for something else, otherwise it's fine.

A10 5800 Review here showing skyrim fps

If your going to look at putting a discrete graphics card in the machine. You might be better to look at the AMD FX range of Chips and AM3+ motherboards.

For an APU build it all makes sense and fits well together.
