[ASK] Water-cooling help for 900D

Thread Starter
Hi everyone,

I will be purchasing my case as it will be release, and i would love to have advice from people which are used to water-cooling. It is the first time that i will try water-cooling and to be honest am not familiar with it .

My budget is $800, and i want it to be single-loop only for my CPU ( i would have love to cool the GPU also if i have enough money left ). My theme is green ,purchase date is expected to be the 05 or 06 .

Also i would really appreciate to have the less tubing possible , to maintain a clean look.

Regards.

Here is a good kit to start with that will last for a long time. With your budget it should leave you enough to get a gpu block also.

you could put several rads and blocks in that loop with dual D5's.

I have 3 gpu blocks, cpu block, mobo block, 240 rad and a external rad that is equal to 2 480 rads with no problems at all. I'd do memory blocks but I don't think I need them.

Someone can help out please ?
Ok, you have your radiators, reservoirs and pumps. Is there any reason why you are getting a bay res and I assume, a tube res? You are also getting pump tops which you will not need if you are getting a bay res. But if you are using them both then you will need pump tops.

Also will you be cooling just your CPU? Just your GPU? Or everything? I assume you are going to be putting everything under water since you are getting long rads for cooling.

Give us a bit more detail on what items you have and what you are trying to cool so we can give you a better idea of what you will need.

You should definitely check this link out so you have a better understanding of all the parts you will need

Hope this helps

Hi,

Firstly i love your copper build biggrin.gif sexy / stylish / original . Yes i will cool GPU + CPU , and for my current rig am selling it this week , i will move to haswell + asrock / asus board + maybe a GTX 780 if the price is reasonable.

Though that the bay res was an important part in a water-cooled setup, but anyway i just want my setup to be like MC from Corsair ,but his built is dual-loop, i want to convert his built in a single-loop with only the component mention above ( the hard part for me to guest is what fittings / rotary / angle / etc ... to buy )

Regards
