Monitor shows no signal but TV works fine on same GPU

Hello everyone, i was hoping someone could give me some advice about this problem. I have a GTX 560TI and i have my 24" LG W2453TQ hooked up and a 42" LG LCD TV.

Whenever i boot my PC nothing shows up on the monitor and the gpu detects my TV as a primary display. I also want to specify that this is somewhat random, there are times when the monitor gets detected and sometimes it doesnt.

I used to boot on my tv and then select screen resolutin on desktop and click detect until my monitor showed up, this worked sometimes and now it doesnt.

If someone can help or has had this problem before and can give some tips it would be greatly appreciated. If you need more details just ask and i will gladly answer.

PS: i tried unpluging an restarting and switching cables and display inputs and pretty much anything i could think of.

EDIT: Installed latest drivers fixed problem for now, but i'm really skeptic because i tried this before and was only temporary solution.

Hi,
I think the problem is with the monitor. May be some circuit or something in it is blown. If you can then try and connect the monitor to some other computer which would really clear the problem out. If it don't work on other computer either then it's gone or else it's something with your computer. Visit this link for more info - http://www.techyv.com/questions/monitor-shows-no-signal-input
