i7 3770k 4.5-5.0 OC help :S

Hey Long time!! Finally i finish the water cooling loop using my old Air Condition radiator as radiator. Right now i just have the CPU in the loop (no graphic card until next weak).

Problem 1: i cant get the 3770k over 4.7ghz, any advice? here is my configuration
Problem 2: No mutter how fast my old Air Condition radiator cooler spin (very slow or super super fast), temps never get lower than 75°-80° (with this OC at full load). Is this ok?

Opinion?

never lowerr than 75? How high does it go? 80 is safe, but kind of high for small overclocks on a water loop. What is your current VCore and multiplier? just checked the pictures...temps are ok for that VCore without delidding, but that VCore is high for that multiplier...is that the lowest you could get it stable?

just for fun....can we see pics of the radiator?!

Hi. First things first, what are the system specs?
Are these temps during stress testing?
This may help.

If you can't get it to go higher, with any amount of volts, you may have just reached your chip's max unfortunately. Not all are guaranteed to hit 5ghz.

Yeah, I am by no means a pro at overclocking, my 3770K hit a wall at 4.7... Wouldn't boot or anything, though I lost interest after having to reset my AWESOME Asus bios every 5 crashes.

Yeah i try lower volt from 1.3 to 1.420 but all crash and low ones wont boot.

I still have none of it installed. I will take some picks this weak, after adding 7970CF to the loop. Hope u like them =/

RAM: 16gb (2x8gb) GSkill 2400mhz cl10
SSD: Raid-0 Samsung 840 PRO 128gb

Those temps r at full stress. No stress its 30-36. Right now i am using it passive, fan do no change at temps =/ (only when test full stress for long).

You should be go with a little me tweaking i think you need to take that pll overvoltage off auto and drop it down and lower your llc one step below extreme and adjust your phase control
post #9 of 11
Thread Starter
I already try that, but not all together. Will check.

I try extreme phase control?
You might of just hit a wall cause my i5 can get 4.7 at 1.2volts no problem but once i pass it thats when i have all the problems
