I'm sure someone will snag this up. Might be able to get a RL friend to take it off your hands, he still doesn't want to preorder a game with a "sometime in 2013" release date for whatever reason. He's going to keep waiting for a release date before buying... I keep telling him if he doesn't preorder and get in beta i'm going to be mad. tongue.gif

I am very interested in the endless world generation. The lack of this feature for Terraria is what caused it to become stale for me overtime. I am still on the fence on whether to pre-order it or wait for reviews to come in before I buy the game upon release.

You have to preorder to get into beta, which comes out sometime this year. It's also only $15 to preorder if you don't want to donate anything, and it's going to be $20 when it launches on steam as far as I know.

You could always wait for it to go on sale after launch, but IMO the beta access and having it at launch is worth it. I don't think the game will fail, worse case you are out $15 and probably still got more time out of it than many of those recent $60 AAA gamea. I bought the $75 diamond pack, and am disappointed they didn't have a $150 or $250 pack. $500 is too much for me to donate. tongue.gif

I wish I could report the OP for causing me to lose the later quarter of this year to this game. =P

I don't read or follow dev pages so I totally would of missed out on this, so thanks for posting!

I sure hope so. Being able to see that much at once would be lulz. Loved Terraria, so much wasted time playing it, lol.

I don't see what's the deal with people liking one or the other, I like both tongue.gif

I dumped over 150 hours into Terraria myself and would probably have been a lot more if I could get my friends into it. They kinda dabble and don't continue. Either way, when the new update comes out I'll probably drop another 50+ into it. I can't imagine how much time I'll spend playing Starbound given the sheer size of the game. Gonna be craaaaaaaaazy.

I have a little over 400 hours put into the game. It's the second most played game on my steam account with New Vegas being the first. I'm gonna love Starbound. tongue.gif

I can't wait for the new update as well! Gonna be huge!
