Yamakasi catleap 27" Ebay green sum no warranty

Thread Starter
I want to let people know about this Green Sum seller who sells defective monitor for 500 dollars without warranty.
I bought this more then 1 month ago paid 500 dollars with one year warranty.
The monitor starts blinking all the time, making this monitor useless.
Try to contact the Seller to ask a pcb replacement and i provide a proof of the order with his name and id transauction.
He answer me back after 3 days saying that he couldnt see the id transauction because was not clear.
I told him that i sent two pics high resolution to his email provided by paypal.
No answer.
Try to contact them again with ebay email saying that i just want to know where to buy this damn pcb thing?? Or if can sell it to me because i wanna fix this damn korean monitor.
Their answer with same answer any time.
Well after this i can only tell. Dont give your money to this people.

Keep bugging them until you get what you want, I have heard others have had it fixed after trying many times. Hope you get it done mate, it sucks to be in your position!
And this is why I bought from accessorieswhole, which is the only one I trust and the only official reseller!

I agree totally. My monitor started having flickering problems. I contacted green-sum about warranty and his response was about every other day with a question. When it is time to send it back, he stops responding leaving me with no address to send. Its been a week since he stopped responding. These monitors are good for the price but when something happens, you are left with a defective monitor and no warranty. I advise people to get it from a big name brand. You paying a little more but you also know that they will back up their products. Also, the price to send ti back to S. Korea is ridiculous.

STAY AWAY FROM GREEN-SUM.

Well... duh. I'd've thought that anyone buying these monitors was well aware of the risk.

Greensum and dreamseller are the ones to stay away from. Accessorieswhole and hulustar seem to be pretty legit.

-500 bucks
-Not pixel perfect and have no warranty

What? My Korean monitor(Qnix) came from amazon though.
Yea, I was searching and wanted to say that.

You live and learn. I was aware of the price to send it back but not aware of the risk of having no warranty and ignored.

What can I say? Learn from the experience.

Have you checked the overclockable pcbs from overlord computers? This may be an option in case you don't hear from green-sum.

I don't know if im allowed to post this link? Please delete it if not.

Of course. If warranty and good customer service/RMA is high on your list then you pay for such and get a Dell or Asus. That said, you know if yours was DOA or dying after a matter of weeks you would be raising hell to get it replaced too if need be. Especially a $500 60Hz Catleap (overpriced before the PLS hit the scene imo).
