Quick Release restriction

I want to add up two of these:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Phobya-Quick-Release-Female-Barb-Fitting-for-38-ID-10mm-Tubing--Silver-pid-14366.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Phobya-Quick-Release-Male-Barb-Fitting-for-38-ID-10mm-Tubing--Black-Nickel-pid-14365.html

So that I can easily unmount my reservoir from the case. Although how restrictive are they?

Uh, if you disconnect those fittings, all the water will leak out, won't it?

What you need is a "No-Leak" quick connect.

Colder Products has them (up to 3/4") and high flow. They're expensive.

Sv: Quick Release restriction

How can you tell these are not valved?

The high flow from CPC which models are they?
I looked on phobya's site and I can't tell if they are valved or not. The Koolance series however is: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=59_346_203_484

They are valved, but they do spill a couple drops when you disconnect them. Restriction doesn't look too bad. These are like a cheap copy of Koolance QDC's

This is a test roundup:

http://skinneelabs.com/quick-disconnect-roundup/3/

I was speaking with a seller for CPC fittings, and he told me they won't fit for G1/4 blocks. I'm confused because they are sold for watercooling blocks:
Quote:
We do not have G1/4 threads. All threads are either NPT or BSPT.

NPT = National pipe threads

BSPT = British standard pipe threads

All CPC QDC's sold by Aquatuning seem to come with barbs : http://www.aquatuning.de/index.php/cPath/50_168_671 . Maybe they are not available with suitable threads.
