3770K @ 4.4ghz 1.240v CPU PLL Overvoltage and Fixed Frequency question - Page 2

Running 3570k with offset on extreme4 max 1.2 voltage. I even have all c states enabled or set on auto. I've found out recently that you should really try and use offset and enable all c states because the average vcore usually is lower even while gaming. You will probably need a little more load voltage but the max will be lower or about the same.

I bumped my speed to 4.5ghz and have been working with my voltages. If I have my manual set to 1.235 and I do not see any movement from idle to Prime95 in CPUZ from 1.232, does this mean I probably have it set too low? Running stress now, 10 minutes, no errors.

i'd leave it at 1.235 then.
just for the "extra" stability. just in case.
of course do see if you can put it to 1.23> if it crashes, then you found your voltage @1.235.

Hi again!

So, was just wondering if I could get some feedback again... I'm running 4.5 @ manual 1.240. All seems good. I have lowered my CPU PLL from 1.7 (as per the guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/1291703/ivy-bridge-overclocking-guide-asus-motherboards) to 1.6.

I still find mixed reviews and opinions on CPU PLL and IB. I am wondering if there may be any repercussions from lowering it to 1.6. It seems to REALLY help my temps.
