8800 > 2x7900.

DX10 support.
Faster in DX9.
Can be SLI'd later on.

8800's will come out on top plus they are directx 10 meaning they'll be good for a year a so.

maybe so,but the way things are going with newer technology coming out all the time directx 11 might be out not that long away.

8800 will be much better. You don't want to buy a DX9 card now, plus 8800 is better than 7900 sli anyways.
