ok

did you see by any change the option to use vechiles and or to sleep ?

Nope which sucks but there was one car to drive but with it being a beta was fairly buggy. I think they are taking the sleeping out of the game altogether which i think is a stupid idea because how can they claim it to be a rpg without the ability to sleep? the zone is one huge! place its like 30 miles square i think..

yeah i read a rumor that they where gonna remove the options to use vehichels and sleeping.

30 miles you say WOW sounds like tons of hours to play and exploring to do. I like the fact that they have put in the actual state (1986) of the nuclear plant and some buildings. did you seen by any change some glitches as seen in the movie.... and how where they like ?

EDIT: look @ video 4, anamolies, vehicles and DX9 ! seeying some good stuff, seem to me not the regular stuff you get in fps/rpg games. and scary enough for the little boys and the music ! oh love techno !

what now you're overreacting it, i know 21 sept, 2001 fell hard on US but that doesn't mean they want to make a game about it... and i don't think you get the point of chernobyl..... did you saw in the story it was about the nuclear explosion ? it think you need to reconsider
There wasn't any nuclear explosion there. Is that how the game goes? And why was it taking place in 2006, not 1986?

To me I think it'd be scarier game if it were historically accurate. Mutations DID occur from that disaster and are probably still happening. Not big fang monster mutations, but scary mutations nonetheless.

I played the Alpha and Beta, and both were YEARS behind HL2 when they came out. They better have put their thinking caps on after leaking those. For one, the AI was quite silly, animations were AWFUL, textures were alright, but the cars were a joke. You would get infinite velocity sometimes and just FLY off the map.

You remember in Farcry when vegetation would grow as you got closer to it? Yeah, they do that too, but its SUPER noticable because its only grass around you, not a tropical scene.

The levels are indeed HUGE, but they were confusingly huge.

One cool thing was that birds in the sky could actually get shot down, that was neat.

Bleh, I am sure the Dev team leaked those out so that people wouldnt totally lose interest in the game. My only hope is that the leaks were just past attempts at the game, and not production material.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_accident

and i don't know how the game story goes, cause not on SGC or THQ site are the info available for that. the mutations where only human kind known (probably to the animals too). the history ain't scary, just that it was a big disaster and that half of europe had radiation (yeah that big ). etc etc blah blah blah... that why i like this game. it's a difference version of how the disaster could have happend.

btw did you know, that the guy who have caused the explosion of the reactor survided and had become 80 years old why the rest died.... jeezz that's one hard********
