HEAT KILLER VS KOOLANCE, Electrolytic Copper vs Nickel plated Copper

which are is the better of the two?

heat killer or koolance?

i cant seem to find any comparative test or even mentions of comparing these two waterblocks..

i was deciding on getting the koolance 380i, but i was suggested to get something from heat killer

can someone please help define the two?

i see that one is made of different materials

Electrolytic Copper vs Nickel plated Copper

.. which i do not know the difference of either..

Thanks!

The HK block is one of,if not the, best block available.
Both blocks are copper, one is just plated, there is no real thermal difference between the 2.

Not only the design but the quality of the machining is also superior on all of the HK blocks that I have seen in person and in photos.

There's a few degrees in it but not enough to bother about.

I personally prefer the Swiftech Apogee HD CPU Block, but that's because I am running a 3930K (which is huge compared to the Z77 chips), but it does give me better temps than the Raystorm or HK3.0 I have.
However, the best block performance I've seen for SNB/IVB is from the Koolance 380I and XSPC Raystorm, with the HK very close.

When it comes to GPU blocks, however, there is no competition: Heatkiller blocks are nearly unbeatable. Aquacomputer has been, and actually may now be, catchin/ccaught up, but I have never seen a Waterblock with the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and oodles of quality that the HK (and AC) blocks justooze...

...when I last upgraded my watercooling loop (maybe 4-6 weeks ago)...I did some research about the best performing waterblocks around at the moment and the Koolance 380i seemed to be getting the best reviews / lowest temps across...Google's pretty useful if you ask it a direct question!
