Korean 1440p Monitors w/ Matte or Anti-Glare coating & removable stand?

Sorry for starting a new topic...ha! like saying that makes it any better.

Anyway, looking for korean 1440p monitors w/ matte or anti-glare coating - specifically one where you can actually remove the stand. Maybe this doesn't exist?

I can't find the Davi's anywhere...all the other matte monitors on ebay seem to be the xstar/qnix QX2710 which have the glass neck/non-removable stand. I've read that some crossovers have matte models, but I haven't been able to find them either.

Any suggestions? Are there some monitors floating around on ebay that have anti-glare but just aren't labeled as such?

Thank you.

I have a Crossover 27Q LED-P my self, without any anti-glare and I love it! Anti-glare really destroys the picture, but at the cost that you can't have to much bright lights in your room.
The stand is removable too, and I know many others are with VESA mounts. The stand can also be adjusted on mine, but the normal 27Q has a fixed height, but is still removable.

I would recommend to go with a monitor without glass, as it often gets dust trapped behind the glass.

Good luck choosing! smile.gif

I don't have control over the lighting as this will be for work purposes (though I will be buying a monitor for home use soon as well), but I knew someone try and convince me otherwise.

Even though I've used glossy monitors for years and use a mac thunderbolt display occasionally, I have found both give me eye strain compared to matte or at the very least a soft anti-glare - which may have to do with lighting, hence my search in the first place.

Thank you for confirming that the crossover's stand is removable though! smile.gif

I was looking for much the same about 3 months ago. All the korean models were glossy, and in the $500 range now. For my home use, I have south facing windows in my den, which means glossy would be a problem. I ended up getting a Dell U2713HM. They go on sale all the time for $550, so in the same price range as the koreans I could find, but with a more accessable warrenty.

It has anti-glare, but its really just the right ammount. I was worried because the reviews on some of the other ultrasharps complained about so much anti glare the monitor sparkled, or had grids across the screen. Feels like they got it right on this model. Of course if you want to try and overclock the monitor the Dells dont have the right boards in them for that.

Im mostly gaming, but I do also run my buisness from home, so I do a lot of office and occational grafic work.
