What to do with the laptop?

Thread Starter
I have an old inoperative Thinkpad T22 and I'm going to take out the LCD screen for a certain reason. My question is: What can I do with the RAM, and is the CPU in there removable. What other parts in there are useful?

The problem is the battery, and like I said, its old. P3 900MHz. 2 ram sticks.

You may have a really hard time using that lcd screen if you're planning on using it in a mod, it has been tried and its really really hard to get a laptop screen to work with a vga port...I would love to see someone get it to work though...

leave it together and leave it plugged in and fold on it! They take little power and + u do something productive

Thats not a concern, eddie.

@JOHNNYS: who said I was putting cash into it? I just want to know what to do with the parts.

@Korn: I'd need to BUY a new battery for that, which isn't worth it.

I would put the hd, cpu, ram, and cd drive onto ebay....or possible just take off the screen and sell the rest still in there on ebay, people buy those alot.
