asus sabertooth z77 hdd problem

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I just recently got a sabertooth board. I got it all hooked up and when it boots, it will read all my ram - 32gb. And it reads my cpu iz 3770k. But it will not noticed my corsair gs248gb hard drives. Has anyone encountered this. Any ideas of what to try. I went and tried to install windows and got to the refersh and start again. But windows doesn't see it either.

Hey man!

Have you checked in BIOS to see if they actually appear? or in fact if they work in say a previous machine? Also you get to the Windows refresh screen? Mind describing exactly what happens smile.gif

Try setting them in AHCI mode in the BIOS.

Good idea, check to see if they are set to IDE or AHCI

These ssds work, they were in my last computer which was built just over two weeks ago. When I boot up it runs through the normal stuff. Then it says cpu fan error. (Fixed that) went into setup and my ssd's don't show up at all. It say I need to try csm or something like that.

I checked that they are in ahci. In the ez menu they don't pop up. And on the american mega trends page they don't show up.
