EK-FC Tripple Parallel and frozenCPU

Thread Starter
I just bought an EK-FC Tripple Parallel for a 3way SLI from FrozenCPU and it came in a bubble wrap and not in one of those nice EK boxes and it looks like it's been used before.
I contacted EK and they said that all these terminals are shipped that way.
Is this how you got yours? Was it in an official EK box or was it in bubble wrap?

I can't speak about the SLI bridge, but I just bought 2 EK-FC560 water blocks from EK directly and when I got them Monday, each water block was in an ESD bag in between 2 pieces of foam, inside an EK box that was sealed with a tamper proof sticker at each end and both EK boxes were placed in a second card board box (which had bubble pack in it) and the whole thing was placed in a DHL bag.

Odds are, if they didn't come in an EK box that was sealed, I'd almost bet my bottom dollar that they were used.

BTW, here is the box that is most likely SHOULD have come in:

Thanks for your informative post. The strange thing is after emailing frozenCPU support, i got the following email from Peter Sajn (official EK tech support guy):

Dear .......

I can confirm that all the EK Terminal Blocks are sealed in bubble wrap with the EK label sticker on it.
I can promise you that the highest quality standards are met and will be met in the future because protecting our reputation for delivering the best product on the market is a key priority for EKWB and FrozenCPU.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Lep pozdrav, Kind regards, MFG!

well on the EK website they have pictures of boxes and there are videos of unboxing's so it would seem a bit strange that they come in bubble wrap

I sent the Peter Sajn (EK guy) the pictures of the boxes and the unboxing videos last night, but those are the videos and pictures of the older model terminal.

FrozenCPU told me that EK hasn't made a box for the new model EK-FC Terminal TRIPLE Parallel (EAN: 3831109868102), that's why they are all being shipped in bubble wraps. This is correct according to the EK website:
http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/multiple-block-connectivity/fc-terminals/ek-fc-terminal-triple-parallel.html

I hope EK gets back to me since I need to order the rest of my parts smile.gif

there is no box on that link so I would take it that they don't use 1 any more, so if your had the EK sticker I would take it as is

@ravage, you're absolutely right. I still need to order the rest of my parts and wanted to make sure that both the EK and frozenCPU are companies I can count on. So far they haven't let me down smile.gif

@Greenback, there was an EK sticker on the bubble wrap so I'm satisfied now.

thanks everyone for replying to my post. thumb.gif

Don't worry about Frozen they are solid. I've done business with them for years and any issue that pops up they handle in a fast and professional manner. Good luck with your build smile.gif
