Are you sure the waterblock is sitting even on the cpu?

There is an easy way to prove to yourself if the problem is the airflow on the radiator. Turn off the fans and see if the temp goes up. It probably wont go up very much and that will prove that you don't have good airflow on your radiator.

That will at least eliminate or confirm that is the problem without spending a dime.

Okay done the test, with fan, 68~70 hovering, without fan, 76~78 may climb more. So is it still because of my radiator airflow or is it because of my lousy waterblock.

So now im not sure to change the postion of the radator or to leave it and find another problem with my system. Oh yah one more thing you might wanna take into consideration is that im living very near the equator so no winter for me, no snow no cold temperatures. Hot and humid in my country so you can't really compare your temps directly to mine. If i could get a full load below 60 degress I would be very happy already. And on top of that I just spent a hell load of money on the system, so if its the hardware problem, I might even have to borrow money from my friends. That means repostioning the radator, buying new pipes, at the same time might consider changing waterblock to apogee or storm at the same time so changing the hardware would be my last resort. Sorry to trouble you guys. Thanks to all who have helped my so far.

So whats the next problem to tackle?

The air temp at your computer is an important factor. Since you brought up that you are at the equator, you must think it matters too? Do you know what it is approximately?

I would pull the radiator and its fans out of the case and run it and check. Make sure you can feel air blowing through it. If that lowers your temps then you know your problem. If it doesn't, then you either have a flow problem or there is a problem with your block mounting.

Have you taken your block off to make sure the Arctive Silver spread itself properly? If you look at the cpu and the block, you can tell if it spread properly. Then you know if you had good contact.
