Their support is outrageous ... no wonder XFX products are not distributed here anymore.
Wanna know what's the response speed of RMA service here? 1/2 day. Yeah. 1/2 a day. By email.
And if i go to where the distro is it's instant RMA. Thank god it's very near ...

Hi all, I just RMA'ed my XFX 7970 successfully, and the process was pretty painless. I agree that their website can be confusing/frustrating/etc, especially with the migration that they just did, but personally I just called them. As some of the people have said already, calling them was much easier, and I got prompt service (they actually helped me create an XFXForce account, and helped me set up a Ticket). I had my 7970 back within 2 weeks, and they even gave me back the same model (reference) that I had sent in.

I've owned an XFX 9800GT for many years now, and it's been my back-up card after I decommissioned it, and has served me well through a couple of other card RMAs. It died once (due to overheating), and XFX replaced it with no issues. The replacement card has been good until the present time. I've had to contact XFX CS via their ticketing system a couple times in the past year, requesting a new cooler for the card, and they were pretty good about responding. I've thought of selling this card a number of times now, but... lifetime warranty and good support so far, so I'm keeping it until it dies again! biggrin.gif

I don't really what your opinion is nor do I have really have a stake in this thread. But when you say gibberish like "Microcenter my local computer store no longer Carries XFX products" and then ya challenge ppl to "Don't believe that? go to their website yourself and look for XFX products" and then you are presented with actual proof that they still carry XFX product.

This is what we call a facepalm. And you deserve one for that challenge.

Oh sorry I guess I should have said "Will no longer update or obtain new XFX products" does that work out better for you? the best card listed is a FX radeon 7770 how's That for a Facepalm? as in real CHEAP.... listed for $150 Dollars, that's not even a day's worth of work at the office.... And the 5870 out-performs that card

The new support seems to be outsourced to China. There is broken English written everywhere and the support page is titled in Chinese characters.

I just re-activated my account, but one of my registered XFX products is missing. Mine too says registered on 01/01/2010, completely inaccurate. I tried submitting a question about that and after clicking "submit" nothing went through, the page just refreshed.

It looks like a 13-year-old designed this webpage. I don't even think its secure.

Should I try registering my product again that I bought 2 years ago?
