Toss up. About equal.

And don't get a coolmax PSU... I lost two, one taking down a mobo with it.

I'll agree with Kamakazi about the Perpendicular HDD. I have two and they're better than all the drives I've had in RAID 0 and basically any HDD, and I've had Hitachi, Western Digital, Samsung and Maxtor in my system. They come with a 5 year warranty compared to 3 and 16MB of cache.

As for the video cards, I'd definitely say wait for the ATI DX10 or go 8800 GTX with a 680i MoBo.

hahahahahaha maybe

but you left out about the best PSU for this rig possible:

Silverstone!!

That 850W beast will power anything, and I'd pick it over many 1KW PSUs (except the $550 PC P&C).

I said that first!

Overkill.
8800GTX is 200W each
C2D is about 250 with WC

(200x2) + 250 = 400 + 250 = 650; 750-650=100W extra.
