How can i split audio from a live stream?

Hello, I've recently started to get into live streaming, as i am always at my desk gaming, and many funny things happen, just never recorded (Kinda why i started live streaming)
So here is what i would like to do. As i also run a YouTube channel (Not very popular but my videos do get views and i do have subscribers) i would like to upload to YouTube clips of the live stream. But the only problem is always listen to music and i if was to upload the clips i would get done for copy write and would not be able to monetize them.

Long story short... How can i.. Split the audio from YouTube separately or my voice and Skype voice and just paste it over the video.
Maybe not the best explained... But basically, i want to know if i can split audio really, if that's the correct term to use.
Thanks in advance!

What do you use to listen to music? It also depends on your games. Can your select the output of your music player and game to different devices? I also just started recently and spent some time digging around. Here is a good guide:

http://blog.hemp-society.de/2012/09/how-to-exclude-any-audio-off-your-stream.html

It may not specifically be related to you as the guide also includes all Windows sounds, i.e. music but if you can just treat their Skype/Teamspeak as your music player then it should be fine. Then set your streaming program to take input from the output of your game (and maybe your mic). Any questions just ask.

Thanks for responding!
I normally use you tube as a main source of music, as i have a few playlists there. But no problem to swap over what i am using for another program like Zune or something.

Tell me the set up you have? May be better trying to work out and adjust the guide to your situation than trying to find a new guide. However here are some more guides:

Also in the future, edit your posts instead of double posting.
