Very low 3D Mark 11 scores? - Page 2

As far as games go, great. I can run everything at ultra settings at 60 FPS or higher, give or take on the AA. Some games I can run x8, some I need to notch it down to x4 or x2. I usually have Vsync on because I'm only running 60Hz monitors and the screen tearing drives me nuts.

I just find it strange that I'm unable to get a proper reading on my performance. I was hoping that I'd be able to compare my scores and work from there.

Obviously it's not a massive problem, but I'd like to see it fixed because it'll just annoy me.

Look at your GPU-Z screenshot, SLI is disabled

I re-enabled SLI and nothing was different. That screenshot must have been just after I reinstalled the latest Nvidia driver.

Your 3dmark score is about right for being only 1 card as well.

IIRC msi afterburner has an overlay that can show you gpu usage, if I do that and see your 2nd card is at 0 then you know sli isn't working. Stupid question but you have the bridge installed right?

SLI is and has been working at all times. I must have forgot to re enable for that GPU-Z screenshot.

I've already done the Afterburner overlay and it shows both cards working at near 100% with Far Cry 3 maxed out with 8x MSAA. I know it works fine in games, I just can't figure out why 3D Mark is giving me such a bad score.

Here's an overlay shot. Again, everything maxed.

have you run the overlay while running 3dmark?

Can you run the 32-bit executable for 3DMark11 to enable the OSD while it's running and see % utilization there?

(Blindsay got there first smile.gif )

Ok, I went away testing before I seen any other replies (bare with me!). I think this may tell a story or two.

I was running the HW monitor on my secondary display whilst 3D Mark was running. You can distinctly see where each graphics test begins and ends. Hopefully this will give some indication of what's going on? rolleyes.gif

Please tell me the very top graph isn't GPU1 temperature blinksmiley.gif

No, GPU2 Power thumb.gif

Didn't bother fitting the rest in because the rest kind of covers the doubts of whether both cards are working or not.
