BitFenix Recon Fan Controller Issue?

Been searching the web and yet to come across a fix for this fan controller to either use the right voltage on fans or the right speed.
It is quite irritating I can't use max speed on my fans, is it due to the 10v per channel of this fan controller or something else?

Sometimes It let's me ramp fans to max speed 2000 sometimes 1900/2100.. It isn't consistent and just curious if anyone has this issue?

I will probably buy a manual knob controller as the bitfenix and it's software are overrated. It's more than a temp sensor than a fan controller imho

I had similar problems when I had mine. It would allow me to max them out but then settle down by about 300 RPM and then fluctuate up over the rated RPM and down again.

I don't think it is due to the 10W per channel because I had 1 fan per channel and it still done it.

I sold it and I just use the built-in fan controller in my R4.

Just set the RPM to max and see what happens..

By the way, which fan are you using to be exact?

All the fans I use it does the same thing.

When I set to max it shows 5500 rpm on a 2000rpm fan. on my 1300 fan it shows 1500 max

I honestly think this is a poorly made fan controller, seems everyone i've talked to has this issue frown.gif

is there a way to make this fan controller stop fluctuating between voltages?

it keeps ramping the speeds up and down and it's quit annoying. i want 1500rpm all i get is 1400, 1600, 1400, 1600

can anyone else share if they experience this too? im on a thin line between selling this overrated bitfenix product and getting a real knob powered fan controller!

temp display for sensor is nice, not when it costs you the ability to have a STEADY fan rpm/voltage/noise from ramping
