any news on Semper vs stuzh in ro16 match 53? they haven't reported their match yet and its past the deadline, want to make sure they either play it in time or get DQ'd because i don't want to miss my ro8 deadline because of it. Thanks biggrin.gif

they haven't reported yet, or at least I'm not seeing it in the thread. They should probably get DQ'd, its not fair to the people playing the games on time.

So I was removed from the tournament without warning because I didn't have open messaging on?

"Your account was reported as not able to accept messages from anyone who adds you and we’ve been removing people who don’t have open messaging policies on their accounts"

If it said anywhere in the rules that players can't have that setting on, then I would understand, but it's not in the rules.... at the very least, you should attempt to contact players by email (which has been used for communication all tournament long) before doing stuff like this. ~_~

In the future, I hope you guys think a little more about your scheduling and rules to avoid massive amounts of disqualifications and unreasonable time frames for players. Specifically, this rule is really stupid:

"If your opponent has made no attempt to contact you claim a forfeit victory."

If you put the burden to contact on the opponent, how do you resolve a situation where neither player attempts to contact the other and both report forfeit victories?
