you were DQ'd a long time ago, why are you still here in the thread complaining? The tournament had a specific time frame, you can't expect things to always bend for you.. blaming mods is a petty thing to do when you are the one at fault. Are you going to blame a company for not hiring you because you showed up late for the interview? Pathetic.

I know I have been lucky with BYEs and I am obviously not a victim, but I shouldn't be at fault for expecting players to follow the rules.

You must have misunderstood my post. I'm agreeing with you, I think it's ludicrous that the players are attempting to play tournament matches and fully support the admin's decision to remove half of the bracket without attempting to contact the players or replying to the players who were questionably removed (working out such kinks would just be a waste of everyone's time, especially dedicated up and comers like yourself).

Your timeliness is something you should be proud of, and I hope you receive the $1,000 first prize you deserve for your impressive attention to detail. Hendralisk and qxc should be utterly ashamed of themselves for asking for an extension on their match, as is it an insult to everyone who has been playing their matches on time. I'm also very disappointed in Sasquatch for not reading fierytycoon's mind and only being online 7 hours a day instead of 11. I hope the complexity manager sees how disgracefully their players have acted in this tournament and disciplines them appropriately (maybe demoting all the above players to Academy)

Thanks to Overclocked for hosting this great tournament and I hope you guys hold another tournament in the future so that I can improve on my placing by getting arbitrarily removed from the bracket in a later round.

its overclock, not overclocked. sorry just training my attention to detail that gets me through tournaments. I haven't seen three paragraphs that heavily laid with sarcasm since my 6th grade facebook days, thanks for the nostalgia.

Asking for extensions on matches is fine, It's just that seeing a post that says matches are being played now, then checking back two hours later and seeing that they haven't been played yet and the post was edited, both accounts are offline at the time, ect. ect.... It's just hard to have sympathy for that, and I'd rather call out what's going on and let admin make a decision than just sit around and wait.

I get you don't agree with me, that's fine, but when you have low admin support(like it obviously is here) it is a lot easier to DQ latecomers than listen to 15 people about why they haven't played their games yet.

At ~12;43 I sent an email out asking when my opponent (FXO.Karmy) would be able to play.. since I received no response, I decided to take it a step further and have his teammate shoot him a message and see whats up.. Karmy was supposed to be on "soon" it has now been about 3 hours and I still have no updates..

I asked if he could play during about a 4-5 hour block of time and got no response.

EDIT: Karmy came back while I was taking out the trash so I msged ASAP hoping to get some games going and to my surprise he is afk within a 4-5 minute span of time and still has yet to respond to an email or any other communication attempts from me

EDIT2: Karmy told me I can have the ffw.

Losers Bracket, R5, Match 112 - Requesting FFW over FXO.Karmy.

Also since I have a "bye" for the next round after Karmy can you push me through to R7? Thanks.

Btw what's happening with hendralisk/qxc? lol

Hello, I see I finally got opponent in LB R6 vs Sasquatch.I have already contacted him over game and sent e-mail but is afk for a while ingame. It is 4:30AM here at the moment so Im gonna wait some more time( I know LB rounds are behind the deadline already so they should be played asap) and then go to bed and wake up in 6-7hours, just so admins/sasquatch know. Cu soon

You only messaged me/sent me an email 2 hours ago which is already at the point of when I usually go to sleep myself (was 10:30 pm for me). I was on all day today (which you can see from my match history) and you weren't online before messaging me =[. I don't know why you're saying I was afk because we talked to each other in game and I said I couldn't play now because it was too late T_T

It was definitely an error on my part to not email you earlier in the day but I've been logged into SC2 literally the entire day and you only logged right as I was closing SC2 D:

I also want to say I agree with some of the sentiment that remarkiwa posted... running a schedule where you have to play a single match almost every day (with the dates not even told very far in advance ><) is way more taxing on a persons schedule then just having the entire bracket played between one or two days. If it was ran that way instead and the dates were known in advance it would get rid of 99% of these scheduling problems because people would be signing up for a tournament with set dates. As it stands this tournament has been one of the most difficult tournies to participate in because of this and the reporting system of uploading screenshots/writing a post for every result as opposed to many websites you can use to run a bracket with reporting systems built in/having an admin available to contact in game instead of having to post evidence for each win. I hope you understand that I still very much enjoy (and appreciate you running) this tournament, I just think this feedback will be useful for the future if you guys host another SC2 tournament and I think most players will agree with my sentiments.

Frozz I'll be online for a little while more if you wake up soon D: but It's been 8 hours since your post so I'm losing hope T_T
