They will for both holidays. As soon as I receive the emails from PPC I post them here.

I concur! first I have even seen it as officially $50 or over. happened to me before but just added something else i needed without thinking then it worked. must have been the $50 mark.

For me it's love/hate. Love the product selection but hate the policies. Allow me to vent, OK smile.gif

I placed an order for water cooling parts for my new build and used the Halloween code. It was over $500 so I got the 10% off. I was very happy but it didn't last. Apparently $500 is also the threshold for their draconian policy’s to kick in. They added insurance (2%) and signature service so now my discount is down to about 7%. I would have been better off splitting the order and accepting the 8%.

I emailed and explained how I had ordered before and they never had issues with me and in fact have never had any delivery’s from Newegg, Amazon, etc, but they best they can come up with is 'we have to protect ourselves'. Yeah, but at my expense! I figured 'live and learn' and moved on.

But wait, it gets better. When I got tracking it states 'direct signature required' which means someone has to be home. My wife and I both work so that is out of the question. But when I talked to FedEx I find that PPCS added a bunch more restrictions on top of the signature. They won't accept a pre-signed slip like most normal deliveries. They won't even allow the package to be held at FedEx for me to pick up in the evening. What is the sense in that? rolleyes.gif

Sorry for the rant but this should be a head's up for anyone placing a >$500 order. Don't!

Well I've never placed an order with them, even when just a couple fittings, without insurance. Too many learning experiences from the ebay days.

The signature requirement is understandably frustrating. I think I was lucky enough with this last build for my fiance, a teacher, to be home on summer break. Otherwise ... ship to work? The shipping department at my old location became very familiar with the FCPU packing tape smile.gif

thanks for the OCN55 code guys ... saved me a nice chunk. I never heard of these guys, I just always went through [that other site we know of that is now dead] for no particular reason, but they'll get my business from here on out. thumb.gif
