Could you explain more specifically what you mean with poor results, and why I should be looking for something else?
I think what means is the ripple on the 5v sucks

Really not surprised by the fact you got pooey answers from users at Toms.

I asked a while ago on there (before I thought better to ask here) if I could run 2x 680s with my PSU (Antec 850w TruePower Quattro) and was informed by quite a few people that I was dreaming if I thought I could do it and that I would need a 1000w+ PSU to do it.

People at Toms have almost zero clue about what they talk about sadly, but than that is why I ask such questions here instead now tongue.gif

Wouldn't get them far, I live only 100 meters (110 Yards) from one of the cheapest PC part stores in Australia.
I'd be silly to order from Newegg when I can pick up cheap parts in minutes.

Anyway, good luck with your build mate.
Sounds like its gonna be sweet.

A bad ripple is what kills parts the more crappy the ripple the higher risk of the PSU killing parts

CDON has Be Quiet Dark Power Pro PSU´s they are not cheap but they are well worth it as the noise level is super low
