I ran a quick check with the info i got from you and kinda crossed it with some of mine and this psu calculator said 500w , wich seems a lil low to me , but i think on a Corsair 750w psu single vid card you should be good . heres the link to the psu calc , there are several online to google , http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine ,

Ya my RMA was to newegg and not a problem , swapped it out for new , TY Newegg , and another good company for RMA's is Coolermaster , i had a 850psu go bad and they replaced it with with the 1000watt i have now .

I think the h100i is a great set up . I was looking at the skythe 12mm fans but wanted LED lighting , if you go with those fans def look for the 2,000rpm SY1212SL12H model you can always turn the speed down .

Last night i flashed the bios in the TA990FXE , kinda runnin out of time to play with it tonight but maybe tomorrow night . then maybe a lil cable management lol:rolleyes:

Also, what's the load temperature?
And what's up with the core voltage in the CPU-Z window ("0.996v") ? What's the actual vcore ?
Otherwise it looks promising!! 5 GHz will make my FSX shine. I hope the 8350 chips are consistent in OCability and quality. I don't want to end up with one that OCs like crap.
Nice job so far thumb.gif

I'm now thinking about getting a Phanteks PH-TC14PE instead of the H100i . The reason being is that the H100i will only perform at its best if high static pressure fans are used (ie. stock fans) so I might actually get more performance out of a top aircooler with its stock fans then an h100i with lower RPM/SP fans. Plus I save some money as well which I can spend on some quality low profile RAM .

Really can't decide which option to go for. Please keep testing your OC if you have some time and post the results, I'd love to see some more stats.

The Phanteks PH-TC14PE and the Noctua NH-D14 are really good air coolers , i have a skythe mugen on a 955 BE wich i run @3.9 and 4.0 stable but its soo big it limits air flow to the north and southbridge and covers my kingston hyper x blue ram , Just some thing to think about , i know with a water cooler it opened up air flow for the rest of the board . when i get home from work tonight i think i may order this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181010 and and put 2 more GELIDS on it in push pull to cool my 7950 reference card .

My kill rate almost doubled with this set up eliminating lag and bottle necking , 3.9 955 and 5770 vs 4.7 8350 and 7950 ......and i aint done yet wink.gif
