And of course we demoed some games as well - Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, Skyrim and Tomb Raider. Each was able to run at 3840x2160 without any complaints or INI hacks. They all looked BEAUTIFUL when in a still position but we did notice some flickering on the TV that might be the result of the 120 Hz interpolation and possibly the "dynamic luminance control" feature that SEIKI has.
It's such a shame that you can't use this with a higher refresh rate than 30hz
It saw the video review earlier today, it was fun looking at them enable 4K for the first time, everything looked quite small haha. Games also ran surprisingly well.
Because of the 30Hz limitation, many in the comments are asking about scaling capability. It being a relatively cheap monitor, will it only give the option to scale from 1080p and other low resolutions or sensibly have 2560x1440/1600 doing 60Hz and done well? If the latter, it becomes an enticing 50" 2560x1440/1600@60hz for $1300-1500 monitor instead of a disappointing 3840x2160@30Hz one.

Am I the only one who thought it was funny that a 17second 10bit YUV video was the most stressful test? Played Crysis just fine but that video brought everything to a halt.
So...it's a mediocre model that's a little early as there's no HDMI 2.0 yet?

I get that part. I was just pointing out the humor of something you wouldn't think of being a problem is a problem. Everyone was like "play Crysis" and that didn't really seem to be a problem. Then throw on the 10bit YUV uncompressed file and poof...bottleneck.
Wow! Didn't even think 4K was even playable. Considering this is 1st gen, 4K gaming may be coming sooner than expected. Sweet.
