Electronic Knowledge please- Bypassing the microphone on my headphones...

Thread Starter
Hey OCN!

So I broke my phillips headphones at the microphone section, decided to bypass the mic and just use them as headphones but only the right speaker is working now.

If I switch the bottom cable over from TRRS to TRS will this help my situation?

Any other recommendations to make them work as normal headphones?
