I've heard a lot of talk of this mysterious white balance thing in the realm of you photography enthusiasts. Some explanation would be great! I literally just remembered my sister had a nice camera, stole it while she was gone and used it lmao. I have no knowledge of how to tweak settings or adjust the white balance, I just use the ZOOMS. LOL
EDIT: Researched W/B a bit, and my sister showed me how it works on the camera, so if I take more pictures I'll take it off auto and play around with it.
I would need your camera model etc. to go in depth, but basically, as an additional help to the good information I'm sure your sister provided you,
The basic idea is to tell the camera what is white to you so that it reset its white to what is truly white in the room, or else you will most of the time see a particular color taint the picture globally. A good share of cameras have that option to 'Manually' balance the whites. I can't wait to see a result in the upcoming pictures
. And yes. Black would look stunning.
