As if every advertisement isn't the same.

Oh no I understand I agree... I think they where trying to show the value of there ~400 build VS an ~$1100 build that has the same frame rate on the game that is the least CPU intensive game there is!

What is even worse is they probably had a 85HZ monitor with vsync enabled HAHAHAH!

Why on earth would they even bring up the 980X... just to talk crap about it's price and try to make the 8150 sound like a good value.

Still glad I bought a 2500k and then got a free upgrade to a 3570k.

Of course I dump AMD for the first time in like 6-8 years and go intel for a change and then end up going toe to toe with Intel a few months later LOL! But hey I am not complaining I live near a microcenter where Intel does not cost more than AMD!

You are talking about Micro Center, both Intel and AMD's CPU's are cheaper so you can't assume that FX 8350 will still cost 190$ as on Newegg and that i5 3570k is 180$. That would be illegal rebating or something... Almost everything in micro center is 40$ cheaper than on newegg.

Oh come on you are just nitpicking my words... I am a hardcore AMD fan... I just got a little bored with the overclocking and it felt to easy so I needed a change. So I jumped platforms. I will go back to AMD someday... MAYBE lol... Mac OSX 10.8.3 runs well on x86 platforms right now and it has been a while since OSX was easy or at least a while then I stopped looking at it so that may keep me an intel fan for a while longer (till OSX goes south again LOL). Yes I know OSX works on AMD but not nearly as well as on Intel and that is only because Macs use Intel.

Anyways I ditched my 960T 4+ GHz x6 and sabertooth for a direct trade to a i7-920 and a RIIIE w/ full coverage waterblock so obviously speed isn't the reason I switched to Intel... It was just having something new that was alien to me. My first Intel in years was the 2500K and that just gave me the Intel bug.

So no need to defend AMD... I am not an Intel fanboy and honestly the only thing worse than an Intel Fanboy is an AMD fanboy LOL!

Dude, everyone knows that Core i7 920 and FX 8150 are roughly equal - as i have said it's a 4% difference. Someone was comparing the Core I7 980X vs FX 8150 like they were equal, not Core I7 920 VS FX 8150 or perhaps you can not read properly?

WTH? Does not matter if it is old. If it had been a comparison between a Pentium 3 VS AMD K7, i still would raised my concern if i had noticed it recently. I am not questioning the current marketing differences, but rather the disturbed and unfair point of view from AMD, no mater which year is it - 1999, 2005 or 2013, you fail no notice the goal of the thread.

Why did you even create this? It's just going to start a flame war between fanboys. Plus it was made a year ago, it's not even relevant. mad.gif

And you obviously are the first flame starter?

I started, not becasue i wanted any flame wars, but because i wanted to gather up people to have a laugh at the really ridiculous advertisement, that is all. Guys like YOU, who don't understand the purpose of such threads, make flame wars.

I don't know should i laugh or cry! Laugh, because of the obvious! Cry, because so many AMD fanboys like that video as if it was some real deal, makes my heart break!

Throughout this whole thread you've been ridiculing AMD and their fans. It's obvious that you are being hostile and in no way trying to "gather up people".
