Since when are people "not admitting" to flashing BIOSes? I always talk about flashing your Titan if you want to properly OC it.
We're on OCN, not on toms hardware. The people here can read a guide and flash their BIOS. If for some strange reason something goes wrong they can fix it.
If they do not have a spare pci-e card then I assume everyone at least has a USB memory stick? You can blind flash a borked card by making a bootable USB. I doubt that it's needed though, everyone who buys a $1000 card and is going to OC it is going to have a 2nd pci-e card somewhere.

There's no reason to be afraid of BIOS flashes. It's like saying that you're afraid of overclocking. If you know what you're doing nothing will go wrong. Actually it's safer than OCing since if something goes wrong you can easily fix it...
