This thread and the other various new threads in the forum are as a result of a larger project that had contributions from numerous people. We wanted to build up our downloads section with the most commonly used applications for overclocking and benchmarking. We're still missing a few, but we'll keep after the developers to get permission to mirror their apps.

Yes, just make sure you don't remove chipset drivers. N/M you have Intel.

For video card cleaning, remove "nVidia" and "nVidia WDM".
The new Driver Cleaner.NET does natively. However, the free version (which is no longer available) was written before Vista. I do not think version 1.5 offically supports Vista.

Just FYI, we have permission from the author to host it. If asked to take it down due to changes in the license, fees, or whatever, we'll happily comply.
Question....all the driver cleaners I have been able to find all say they are for NVIDIA and ATI cards, but what can I use for an HP laptop with Mobile Intel video? Thanks

hey guys, quick question: could it be that the Windows un-install of the drivers is completed at start-up? cause I followed the steps and couldn't get rid of a random shutdown while gaming... I am wondering if it is cause I went from un-install straight into safe mode to run DCpro... (did it right, ran twice)

That's how I always do it.
Do you have a thread going for the random shutdowns?
no... not yet cause it was only in game... I have stopped playing for like a week or two... (I only play COD2 so I am sorta sick of it anyway) but If it persists and I do I'll PM u a link
a question: im upgrading from forceware 93.71 to 162.18. should i clean the old drivers (93.71) using driver cleaner, or will installing the new (162.18) without removing the old would be fine?
I'd just like someone to clarify driver replacement for me, please...
Should I go to the control panel, remove NVidia Display Drivers, reboot, run Driver Cleaner, run C-Cleaner, reboot again, and then install the new drivers?
Just to clarify this program... I'm an ex Driverheaven mod, and have been a member there for a very long time. I know the person who made this software. This version is free, and will remain free. Though it does not support Vista (there have been horror stories and sucess stories use at your own risk in Vista).
The newer versions do support Vista, and are relativly cheap. The price last I checked was $10 via paypal.
I bought the official program so I can use it in vista.
Half of the cleaning steps in this one fail in vista. Including "Nvidia".
