Newegg has confirmed that MSI has officially discontinued their reference 7970.

=(

Now it is literally impossible to get a pure reference 7970 with a game bundle at a reasonable price... I should have just ordered it right away.

I got this score with ASUS 7970 TOP - DCU II bios

Actually I did set voltage high - 1300-1325 could be enough smile.gif

But cooling is good.. of course it's not stable at this voltage.. 1200-1220Mhz.

What kind of clocks have you been able to get on air? I'm a little hesitant about buying cards that don't have a fully-transferable warranty, consider my history of failing parts :/

YGPM, I didn't want to take this further more off topic since this isn't a TF3 7970. wink.gif

On the subject of the TF3, my replacement is on its way back and should be here Wednesday.

AND, as SLK discovered, the MSI reference cards are back in stock on Newegg, and it looks like they got a bunch of them. $400, free shipping, and 4 free games. Man that's so tempting... but I can't stop looking at that Lightning BE on SuperBiiz!! tough choice... I've made up my mind that I want to crossfire but if the TF3 I get back is a terrible clocker it might not even be worth getting a second card at all because it will just hold back the other card.
