PC woes. Asus P7H55-m pro only reading 1 stick of ram

Title says it all. Installed 8GB of G. Skill Ripjaws into my Asus P7H55-m PRO board but BIOS and Windows x64 only report 4GB. Tested each stick, passes memtest and Windows will boot fine with each stick induvidually installed. But the second I go to run both it doesnt read the second stick. Tried bank 1-3, 1-2,1-4, 2-4, 2-3. nothing gets the board to read more then 4GB. Supports 16GB.

Just taking a shot in the dark, but you might wanna try the BIOS update page and see if the update might help that. My board has a different color(darker Blue), for two slots which I was told to put any overclockable ram into first.

edit ; When I look on newegg about your board, it seems a quite a few ppl have the same problem.

I figured it out. Memory remapping feature was disabled. IDK why they even have that setting. I guess its from manually setting ram size if you only have 32bit OS. Thank you for the quick response though.
