This is another set, the 2.5" versions I had in Yin & Yang are in another build now...you can't find the 3.5" versions in the US anymore so I ordered them out of the UK and had them shipped...These 2.5" Himuros happened to arrive the same day (picked them up off ebay...

I really like them too...they are going to be an integral part of this build...thumb.gif

Cabling Continued

The Aquaero cable that comes with the AQ5 is something like 36" long..waaay too long for what I needed, so I had to shorten it...

Pump Assembly

So the pump I am using is the Swiftech MCP35X. It's a great pump and has PWM that can be controlled from the Aquaero 5. I'm using a koolance top and 80mm reservoir combo.

One of the downsides to the DDC style pumps is that they are ugly and have uber long wires...we're going to fix that (at least the wire part) tonight...wink.gif

Here is what it looks like sitting in the case

First up was to cut the wires to the proper lengths...

I want the pump to connect directly to the PSU..so we are going to eliminate the fat 4-pin connector and use a six pin connector similar to this

Pump disassembly

New connectors (black even! tongue.gif )

All sleeved...
