Shadow flickering after enabling SLI on 660 ti, anyone seen this before?

I just got these cards today and im totally blown away by the performance. Except now there is shadow flickering in Crysis 3 and FarCry 3. It gets worse if I downsample. I thought at first it was the R320 drivers they released today but I went back to 314 series and same thing.

I don't ever recall this happening on my 580 sli set up I had to part with because of money reasons last year.

Anyone know what might be up?

bump. really trying to troubleshoot this issue, just got these cards yesterday. I confirmed this doesn't happen when sli is disabled.

I would start with running gpu-z...take a looks at temps, etc and compare the results of both card. Maybe one is running a little on the hot side. Did you buy these new or used?

I got shadow flickering when i had my Vram overclocked too high. Drivers affected it sometimes as well.

Those are the 2 paths i would look into.

Yeah I've heard drivers can cause this, I can confirm that it's only sli and only seems to be crytek engine actually. Frostbite downsampled awesomely.

I have Noticed that when I'm on the native resolution everything is fine and when I go to downsample the shadows start flickering when I go back to the native resolution, the flickering shadows still happen

Also have noticed whacked out sli frame times on crysis 3 but not far cry 3

Might should send these back and just get a titan. Fudge it.

the top card usually runs hotter in almost every SLI setup I've seen

They are new cards but came with different max boost. Specs say 1165, but one runs at 1215 smile.gif when synced so I matched the clocks and re tested. No difference. Also still happens on stock settings. So I don't think it's a VRAM issue
