"air pockets"

Thread Starter
thermaltake....they claim they are "masters of cooling"

had a soprano case for a while now, and ive only just realised how utterly shocking the airflow is in these things.

When the front panel and drive door is closed, there is next to no air taken in by the front 120mm fan, which otherwise, moves quite a lot of air while still being very quiet.

This seems to lead to a "pocket" of hot air under my graphics card, and having the front door open so nothing is restricting the fan, drops my gpu temps allmost 5 deg C

The "dust" filter happens to filter out jack....youknowhat....?

Anyone else think these are a loada B0ll0x?

Sopranos aren't good TT cases. Go get an Armor or a Kandalf or a Shark or a Mozart TX, and you won't be complaining.

Well Sorry but can you please in the Post box go to Advanced and change the title of your thread...Its against TOS. The case you have there is ok I will admit its not the best.

yeh... namrac your right

my shark cools brilliantly.... and its better made than some cars

soprano is a cheap case compared to a Shark or an armor.... and therefore the cooling reflects this

i have to dissagree. i love my TT soprano even though parts of it are flimsy. i think it does a great job of cooling and keeping out dust.
cant complain..

The Tsunami is the bit of a better version with slots cut to allow airflow and such. Just Mod the front door =)
