In need of headphone/microphone set

According to how should I make the thread here goes.

State your budget! (Set an absolute maximum or give a relative maximum with + x amount if it will be amazingly better). - Absolute maximum is 120 dollars (if I count it from my currency to dollars) in my currency its around 2400 CZK (you can look for prices in shops listed below).

State your music tastes - Rock, Classic, Metal and electronic music (dont have subgenre preference there)

State what perks are highly desirable (low impedance, heavy bass, excellent for gaming etc..) - Comfort, sturdiness (not that easy to break), good for gaming

State what products you already have and are planning on using with your recommended item (state whether you have an amp if you're looking for headphones with high impedance for example) - New to audiophile world, nothing yet except on-board sound card

State how you are going to use the item (e.g. out-and-about, at the gym, at home, PC / console, gaming, music etc). The more detail in this, the better. - At home with my computer which runs Windows. Slight chance of falling and such, therefore the need of sturdiness. I often watch movies, listen to music, and play games so I could use well-rounded headphones.

State where you live and offer some sites that are known for having good prices / being reputable so we can help recommend you products in your country's currency (like Amazon or ebay). - Best known site for this is called Heureka which takes prices from several shops and shows you comparison - http://www.heureka.cz/ . Then some specific shops - http://kytary.cz/ , http://www.muzikant.cz/ , www.hudebnicentrum.cz

Up until recently I wanted to buy headsets but several people talked me out of it saying that its better to buy seperate mic and headphones. Now, important additional detail, I need good microphone that would be good for home recording and would have similar traits to the headphones (sturdiness and such). Thank everyone who will help.

I have these , probably the best sounding headset I've ever owned. Plus they are wireless and the batter last about 6 hours. I've owned these over a year now and the sound quality is still amazing, and the battery life is as good as the day i got them. However these are not audiophile head sets by any means, but for gaming, I give them a 10 !

Well, the microphone will be used mainly for voip, general speaking and all things related to it over internet and then podcast thing related which is why I could use microphone of better quality than the logitech one.

I personally use a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone for my mic. As for the headphones, I took a look and all my suggestions are out of your price range in your country. Seems things are sold a lot cheaper in the US.

Oh bummer...did you check all the sites? The prices sometime differ by a lot, and also which one would be closest/best pic in that price range? There are few other places I could try to check.

I think the Grado SR60 might be something to consider since you like rock. I checked some of them, but on a few of time I didn't immediately see how to get to the headphone section so I skipped it. If you could link us directly to the headphone section of each site, I may be able to find a suitable suggestion or more.

This may be a decent pair of cans for you. Everything else, starting with the M50 is well outside your budget. There are some that fall within your budget, but those particular ones on the sites I have not auditioned before and it would not be right for me to suggest anything I have not personally heard.

I wouldn't mind some tips that could be potentionally good but not guaranteed, but thank you bookmarked that nice set of cans, I will go to that shop later (most likely at weekend) with more headphones in mind.
