Need help deciding new GPU

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I'm in the process of buying a new GPU this weekend and I'm a bit undecided of what I wanted to go on. Currently, I have a 9800gtx+ so its about 5 years old and can barely handle games. I'm thinking of getting a 7950 from newegg or amazon, but the 660 TI and the 670 are both tempting options as well. If you could give any feedback let me know!

Currently thinking about getting this:

EDIT: I don't want to spend more than $350..

I vote for the 670. Just because that is what I know and like. The 660ti is a better budget option. CCC annoys me so I prefer nvidia. Great drivers, great control panel. Great performance.

The GTX 670 is a bit expensive so I don't think I'll go for that, and I think the 7950 outpreforms the 660 TI

the Sapphire HD 7950 boost is a good option. dual x cooler is better than the ref cooler design you picked. reference HD 7950 PCB . unlocked voltage. USD 305 after $15 off with code CHERY2315 ends 04/29/2013. USD 285 after mail in rebate. excellent price.

I will also go for a GTX 670. Even if it is expensive, it is the best and you just need to spend that much once and you have the best products with you.

Personally I'd recommend an Sapphire HD 7950 variant. thumb.gif
Only go for GTX 670 if you can afford it, however the gain in performance does not seem to be enough to bridge the $100 or so difference in price.
