Can't get rid of Visualbee Search Engine

Thread Starter
I accidentally installed this toolbar by visualbee and I uninstalled it from my control panel but now when I open chrome I get the visualbee search engine instead of the page that shows my most visited sites. How do I get rid of the search engine?

In Chrome, go into Settings. It must have checked it to open to a specific page, so for startup just recheck / re-set it to 'open new tab' or whatever else you prefer.

Uninstall VisualBee extension from Chrome
Uninstall VisualBee extension to remove it completely from the browser:
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Click Tools.
Select Extensions.
Click the trash can icon by the extension you'd like to completely remove.
A confirmation dialog appears, click Remove.
You can also temporarily turn off an extension by disabling it on the Extensions page.

Set your default search engine
Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Select Settings
In the "Search" section, select the search engine you want to use from the menu. If the search engine you want to use doesn't appear in the menu, click Manage search engines.
In the Search Engines dialog that appears, select the search engine that you'd like to use from the list.
Click the Make Default button that appears in the row.
If the search engine you want to use isn't on this list, you can first add it as a new search engine option.
If the "Make Default" button doesn't appear for the search engine you've selected, you may need to edit its URL.

Hi TheAssasin,

The visualbee toolbar comes as an addon to the installation of the visualbee plugin for microsoft power point. The toolbar, attaches itself to your browsers.

The best, cleanest and fastest way to get rid of this toolbar is to follow the instructions that the VisualBee team has on their website. You can find out how to uninstall the toolbar by following the link: http://www.visualbee.com/uninstall-visualbee

Hope this helps you and everyone else having an issue.

Anna.
